Musical Reading

APO is planning a reading of a musical for this fall semester. It has been spoken of in the past, but we are really trying to make it happen this year. There will be brief informal auditions for any interested. We are trying to keep the cast kind of small so that rehearsals can be as frequent and productive as needed. We are also planning some light choreography for some of the numbers, so be prepared. As of now this is a reading for brothers only. But that is subject to change. Any further questions or ideas can be directed toward Josh Clary and Matt Mccubbin. More details await as the semester approaches.

APO General Meeting 4-27-10

o Will require response via email, so look out for them

o If you have suggestions, we will DEFINITELY take them into consideration

· Money

o You’re money is in good hands

o Brothers and AFKAPS paying dues

§ If you have not paid dues by the end of THIS week, you will NOT be considered a returning brother

§ Give to Ashley Earick as soon as possible

· Put your student ID number on it, regardless of cash or check.

§ It’s your responsibility as a Brother to pay

§ $15 per semester

§ $30 for new brothers

o Money that has been paid has only been used for APO

§ Rest assured

· “Commit”tees

o Can only join one

§ If you are a Brother, you MUST sign up for a committee

· The only way to improve APO is to get involved

· Different levels of commitment for each committee

· Will set up different meeting times for each committee

o An hour or so set aside from your schedule each week

§ Gala Committee

· Responsible for setting up gala

· Brothers only

§ Rush Committee

· Under Caitlin Sneed

· Organizing/executing Rush week

· Brothers only

§ Publicity Committee

· Under Kyle Talley

· Open to Non-Brothers

· Campus emails, fliers, etc

§ Fundraising Committee

· Under Ashley Earick

· Planning and executing fundraisers

· Open to Non-Brothers

o Possible Philanthropy and Social committees to come in the fall
